The first one wiIl take place in the Community Centre in Leenane at 5 p.m. on Wednesday the lst of February. The second one will take place on that same evening at the Ellis Centre in Clifden at 6.30 p.m. Two more meetings are scheduled for the following evening, Thursday the 2nd of February. One of these meetings will be in the Clann Resource Centre in Oughterard at 4.30 p.m. and the other one will be in Ostán na Ceathrún Rua at 6.30 p.m.

Councillor Seosamh Ó Cuaig said he hoped that there wouIld be good attendances at these meetings. "For some reason we in Connemara have been left without a public swimnmning pool over the decades while Galway County Council and Galway City Council were actively promoting such facilities - and funding them - in other parts of the county. Now we have a study going on and we should make our voice heard strongly", Councillor Ó Cuaig said.
