Councillor Seosamh Ó Cuaig has got a commitment from Galway County Council that repair works wiII soon be carried out on two sections of roadway in Cill Chiaráin. One of these sections is to the west of Loch Con Aortha school and the other section is just to the east of Cill Chiaráin village.

"Work on the water scheme is taking place at the moment but the weather is a problem", Councillor Ó Cuaig said. "However, I have been assured by the County Council that the job on the road surface will be finished, soon."
